How We Started
Born from a Family's Own Journey
In 2009, our founder Margaret Collins spent six months trying to find the right memory care community for her mother — calling facilities, touring alone, and making decisions with no professional guidance. It was exhausting, emotional, and isolating.
After her mother settled into a wonderful community, Margaret knew she had to help other families avoid that same struggle. She earned her Certified Senior Advisor designation, built a network of trusted care providers, and launched Golden Care Placement with one mission: no family should navigate this alone.
Today, our team of certified advisors has helped over 500 families across the country find care that truly fits — and we've never charged a family a single dollar for our services.
